Admission for 1st Year B.P.Th.

A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalant examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology. A candidate belonging to open category must have obtained not less than 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalant) Examination. A candidate belonging to backward class must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalant) Examination.

Candidate will be admitted, on the basis of merit in Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) to this course. So the seat of all private Medical Colleges are filled 50% by the Goverment and 50% by Management under the merit of MH-CET marks. Date of issuing the admission forms will be declared in the leading newspaper. Admission forms will be available in the office during office hours.
     
Pattern of Examination    
 

Bachelor of Physiotherapy
There shall be following four examinations leading to the degree of (B.P.Th) Bachelor of Physiotherapy of 4 1/2 years duration including six months of Compulsory Internship 'After passing the Finals i.e. Fourth Year B.P.Th. Examination.

  1. The first B.P.Th Examination at the end of the 1st year.
  2. The Second B.P.Th Examination at the end of 2nd year.
  3. The Third B.P.Th Examination at the end of 4th year

Master of Physiotherapy
Duration of Course is of two years. University exam will be conducted at the end of 2nd year of M.Ph.T.
